We believe that proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ is the primary role of the Church. Giving everyone the opportunity for forgiveness and salvation as they hear and believe. We are "not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes"
We seek to honour the Holy Spirit in all we do in Amazing!GRACE; His presence, power and gifts are welcomed and vital in every service. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is for all believers and is essential for a full and victorious Christian Life. Jesus said: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses...to the ends of the earth".
We believe that Great Britain and Europe will experience a great revival of Christianity, the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit that the world has ever seen! All of our prayers, ministry and churches are permeated with this faith. What we see in the Church at the moment is nothing compared to what will be in the days ahead and everything we do as Amazing!GRACE is preparation towards this great revival: "In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people; your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days".
We believe that prayer is the heartbeat of the Christian life. We depend on God's power and help in all areas of ministry and life. Daily prayer as individuals and as a Church is our aim. Prayer Mountain is our vision for ever increasing prayer as we learn how to pray together.
Our aim is to “pray in the Spirit at all times, with every kind of prayer and petition” (Ephesians 6:18) and to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
We are a Bible believing, Word people. We look to the Bible for all instruction, teaching and revelation. We seek to honour the Bible in all things through daily reading, study, preaching and teaching. Our Bible school covers Genesis to Revelation in one year as a starter year of study. Our Sunday morning services and small groups have Bible teaching at their centre.
We believe: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness".
2 Timothy 3:16
We believe that receiving the full ministry of Jesus is essential if we want to do the works that He did. Route 61 is a 12-week discipleship course based on Isaiah 61; the famous passage from where Jesus described what he came on earth to do. Route 61 is designed to help you experience Christianity to the max! Learn to receive the FULL ministry of JESUS! Many Christians experience only a part of Jesus' ministry, at Amazing!GRACE we want you to have it all!
Our call and mission is to start churches in the UK and Europe BIG TIME! Our desire is to start strong churches of the Spirit and the Word. We aim to help encourage and promote Christianity and its revival everywhere! Through the power of the Gospel and signs and wonders, with the help of the mighty Holy Spirit, it is our joy to be a GOING people wherever He will send us!
Our Mission is clear:
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved"
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit"
Band of Brothers / Band of Sisters is an opportunity to gather for prayer and to prophesy over each other in our own groups as men and women. Brotherhood and sisterhood are at the heart of who we are at Amazing!GRACE. Everyone loves these meetings as they are powerful, encouraging and useful for developing Spiritual gifts and hearing from God: “Since you are eager for gifts of the Spirit, try to excel in those that build up the church”.
1 Corinthians 14:12
We believe that Jesus builds His Church, joining people of all ages together to worship God and learn to do His will. All-age teaching plus Youth and Kidz ministry are vital. It's not simply social, it's also supernatural! When the body of Christ gathers to fellowship with one another the Lord is present. Relationships are strengthened as we meet regularly and share life's joys and troubles. Sundays and mid-week small groups are awesome times of meeting Jesus together!
Jesus said: "I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it".
The writer to the Hebrews said: "Let us not neglect meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching".
We meet in homes across the region for support and encouragement. These are great places to make friends, worship and pray together and grow alongside each other in a loving family environment. It’s in these groups where we learn to live out our Christian faith and to practically apply the biblical teaching that we’ve heard on a Sunday to our everyday lives. Everybody’s participation and contribution is valued and appreciated in the small group meetings, here each person is encouraged to develop and flourish in their gifts. The groups are also very outward looking and regularly plan social events to which they can invite friends, neighbours, work colleagues, etc:
"With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved”.
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth”
Communion is the central celebration in Christian worship. Gathering around the cross to remember what Jesus did for us and receiving His powerful victory into our lives is something we do every week in our services. We want to live focused on Jesus and this is the way he taught us:
“And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you”.
Showing God's love to a broken world is our privilege and responsibility. Whether broken homes here in Europe or starving children in the Third World we want to play a strong part, in Jesus' Name! We have a strong partnership with COMPASSION UK and TLG (Transforming Lives for Good). We want to be God's hands of mercy to our hurting communities. The apostle Paul writes: "All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I had been eager to do all along".
